Cooper Homewood were appointed to deliver the
full design and specification across all six properties. This included the
integration of air source heat pumps for low-carbon space heating and domestic
hot water, as well as the design of electrical power systems, audio-visual
infrastructure, and advanced security provisions.
Given the site’s location within the South
Downs National Park, there were strict requirements to control light pollution.
Cooper Homewood developed a sensitive external
lighting scheme for the entire development and produced a comprehensive
planning report demonstrating that zero upward light output was achievable,
thereby fully complying with the park’s Dark Sky Reserve standards.
