Cooper Homewood were appointed to provide the detailed design and delivery of all MEP services for Block E, which comprised an 18-storey residential tower.
The upper floors accommodated high-density housing, while the basement and lower levels were designed to house a new Key Stage 2 school, providing modern learning facilities for over 400 pupils.
The building was designed to stringent
performance standards, with overheating mitigated through passive design
strategies and the integration of high-efficiency building services plant.
Cooper Homewood’s role ensured that the complex integration of residential and
educational spaces was delivered with fully coordinated, sustainable, and
robust engineering solutions.
